I found it interesting to discover that particularly the smaller companies in the "Hogeveense polder" in the Netherlands make their own, very specific, hand tools. 

 

Through changes that will be made in the landscape and lack of successors many of these small breeders disappear  from the polder and thus this particular use of the instant invent of an lif adequate tool.

 

With this film, I would like to capture the beauty of this hand tools and thus preserve the memory of the growers.

 

The movie was exhibit in museum "De Zwarte Tulp" in Lisse the Netherlands with the grand re-opening.

It will be shown from June 2015 untill October 2015.
